A cutoff upper level low will help pump moisture into the region that will interact with a weak boundary stalled across the area.


This weather pattern will be slow to change so there is a chance for thunderstorms through the weekend and into next week.

Today A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. East wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.


Tonight A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. East wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.


Saturday Showers and thunderstorms likely. Cloudy, with a high near 77. Southeast wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
