The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory for Bates County and some surrounding areas in the early morning hours and has since been allowed to expire.
The advisory went into effect at 3 a.m. this morning and lasted until 8 a.m.
Temperatures to dipped into the low 30s last night prompting a frost advisory, according to NWS.
lows are expected to be below normal over the weekend and you are advised to take precaution in protecting any vegetation.
Today's high will be around 60 and over the weekend temperatures are expected to be in the 70's.
