Springfield, MO – More than 2,200 pre-1985 specialty cars will be in Springfield for the Mid-America Street Rod Nationals Plus May 23-25.
The 31st Annual National Street Rod Association car show will feature street rods, cool customs, pick-ups, restored muscle cars and just about any kind of car you can imagine at Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.
Along with hundreds of unique cars, a variety of activities will be available including games, an arts and crafts show, entertainment, a swap meet, a model car display, a quilt show and more.
The NSRA Super Prize Program will give away more than $72,000 worth of merchandise and there will be three drawings for $3,000 each.
On May 25, the award-winning vehicles from the show will be on display at the Circle of Winners awards area and the awards ceremony will take place at 2 p.m.
Spectator tickets are $15 for adults, $6 for ages 6 to 12 and free for children younger than 6 with an adult. Active military, people older than 60 and NSRA members with appropriate identification will receive a $2 discount.
Spectator hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. May 23-24 and 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. May 25. Registration is 2-6 p.m. May 22, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. May 23 and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 24 at the DoubleTree Hotel, 2431 N. Glenstone Ave.
