JUNE 7TH RELAY FOR LIFE EVENT

Relay for Life in Butler is scheduled Saturday June 7th. It will take place around the uptown historical Bates County Square. The all day event will feature activities, entertainment, the Silent Auction and reading of the Luminaries at dusk.

This year’s theme is,“ Color a Cure”. With the 2014 Goal set at $48,500.00. Teams have been having different fundraisers to raise money to meet this goal. Traditional Sand Bag Luminaries are for sale and the Floating Lantern’s.

To place your luminary order call Vicki Kershner 660-679-4108 at West Central Community Action Agency just off the east side of the Butler Square.

The dollars you spend during the all day event will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
