Ellett Memorial Hospital and the Appleton City Rural Health Clinic are sponsoring their annual “Fun and Fit Community Block Party” on Saturday, August 23rd from 9am – 1pm.
The day will begin with a 5k walk, registration will be at 7:30, and start time is 8am at the hospital. The Auxiliary Bake Sale will be from 8:30 – 12:00pm.
Free health screenings include peak flows, bruit screenings, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, balance testing and carpel tunnel screening. For additional fees, blood work testing will be available.
There will be over 20 information booths like Home Health, Hospice, Nursing facilities, special needs children and many more. Life Flight Eagle will be there as well as the crash simulator from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Bring the family for a day of fun, food and information. There will be kid’s games, a bounce house, hot dogs and popcorn.
