Please note that neither Butler’s Taco Bell Franchise nor any of their employees were involved in the drug bust below. It was simply where the undercover operation took place and where the subjects were arrested.
BUTLER, Mo – On October 22nd 2014 Bates County Narcotics Unit and CNET Drug Task Force conducted an undercover operation at Taco Bell in Butler, Mo. The Suspect met with undercover agents and agreed to sell them Heroin. During the operation the suspect provided a small bag of Heroin in exchange for cash. Once the transaction took place Bates County Deputies and Narcotics Officers converged on the scene to take the suspect in custody. In the suspect’s vehicle there were four people taken custody.
The suspect, identified as Shayn B Berry, 11/7/1980, from Kansas City Missouri, was taken into custody and charged with Delivery of a Control substance. Bond was set at $100,000.00 cash only.
A female, identified as Alexxadra S Morris, 2/9/94, from Kansas City Missouri, is being held on a Jackson County warrant for Theft.
Sheriff Anderson says, “Heroin is a drug that we are beginning to start to see again in Bates County. Heroin use seems to come in cycles in Bates County.”
