VERNON COUNTY, Mo – Three people have been arrested in Stotesbury as the result of a drug operation conducted by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office and the CNET Drug Task Force.
According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, Daniel Mccullough, 53, of Nevada, Paul Bordelon, 35, of Fort Scott KS, and David Shelton, 55, of Kansas, are being held in the Vernon County Jail. Sheriff Jason Mosher said his office had been conducting surveillance at a residence in Stotesbury for drug activity and had received information from a confidential source that a wanted person was also at the residence. The Sheriff said Mccullough was arrested on a probation and parole warrant, and Bordelon and Shelton were both arrested for possession of methamphetamines with intent to distribute.
Mosher said the undisclosed address was a residence his office had been watching for a while. “We knew there was drug activity at this residence, but had to wait for the right time to move in.” Mosher said tips and information from the public played a large role in collecting the information they had been waiting on to make the bust. Mccullough is being held on a no-bond warrant, and Mccullough and Bordelon are both being held on a $25,000 cash only bond.
