BATES COUNTY, MO -Two arrests were made Friday morning by the Butler Police Department with assistance from the Adrian Police Department, on a alleged counterfeit money operation that was going on at a residence in Adrian.
It is being reported the counterfeit bills being produced were smaller denominations and possibly being passed at local area businesses.
A formal press release is expected on Monday with more information regarding the arrests.
