BUTLER, Mo – On October 6th Butler Police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Lee and Main. During the stop Officers requested the Bates County Sheriff’s K-9 unit.
During the search of the outer perimeter of the vehicle the K-9 altered on the vehicle. Officers then searched the inside of the vehicle and located a plastic bag containing a white substance which was later determined to be Methamphetamine. Weight of the substance was over 3/4 of oz.
The driver Ky J Brink and passenger Robert C Gabriel were both arrested and are currently being held in the Bates County Jail. The Butler Police would like to thank the Bates County Sheriffs K-9 unit and Deputies for their assistance.
