WEATHER STORY:

Another round of strong to severe storms is possible this afternoon into the early evening as a cold front sweeps southeastward across the area.

A few non-severe storms are possible this morning, but more widespread storms are expected east of a line from Burlington KS to Lamoni IA this afternoon.

The highest probability of severe weather will be in our southeast (Clinton to Columbia and areas southeast).

Large hail and damaging winds are both possible with the strongest storms, and an isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out.

Storms will move out of the area this evening, and much colder temperatures and quiet weather are expected behind the front.
