Thirty investigators from area agencies began receiving lead assignments and will be working the case over the next several days.
On Monday, the bodies of a mother and her adult son, Barbara and Jeremiah Hudson, were discovered inside their burning home northwest of Green Ridge in rural west central Pettis County. Investigators believe the fire was intentionally set and the Hudsons died of foul play.
The Sheriff is urging anyone with information in the case to contact the sheriff’s office or their local law enforcement agency.
Pettis County Crime Stoppers also offers a cash reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to an arrest by calling the Crime Stoppers Tips Hotline at 660-827-TIPS (8477) or texting a tip to 660-281-6501.
