Pettis County Crime Stoppers Need Your Help

PETTIS COUNTY, Mo - The Missouri Rural Major Case Squad convened Wednesday morning in Sedalia to assist the Pettis County Sheriff in the death investigation of two rural Green Ridge residents earlier this week.

Thirty investigators from area agencies began receiving lead assignments and will be working the case over the next several days.

On Monday, the bodies of a mother and her adult son, Barbara and Jeremiah Hudson, were discovered inside their burning home northwest of Green Ridge in rural west central Pettis County. Investigators believe the fire was intentionally set and the Hudsons died of foul play.

The Sheriff is urging anyone with information in the case to contact the sheriff’s office or their local law enforcement agency.
