Change in Leadership in Rich Hill, MO

During a special City Council meeting on Thursday, January 30^th, Justin Moreland was appointed the new mayor of Rich Hill, MO.

Moreland accepted the position and was sworn in after Mayor Richard Miller tendered his resignation on Tuesday, January 28^th.  The resignation was read by Mayor Pro-Tem Jennifer Perkey-Ewing and accepted by Justin Moreland, Patricia Pilcher and Natalie Buesing.

Moreland serves as Chief Deputy of the Bates County Sheriff’s Office.
