On Saturday the Butler Bears Track Team traveled to Archie for a beautiful full day of track. With a lot of high expectations and a "do or die" situation the entire team performed well. For some of the athletes, this was their last meet of the season, but for others we get to continue on. The Boys finished with a 3rd place district score behind Adrian and Knob Noster. I am extremely proud of our team and with what we have accomplished so far. As you can tell, our kids did really well with great competition. Now we must travel to Kearney on Saturday with the kids that have advanced. The top 4 in each event on Saturday will run at the State Track. If you see these kids wish them luck as they finish out the season. I am proud to have all of these kids come out and change the attitude and perspective of Butler Track and Field. It has been a real pleasure, but now we must see who advances on. It is going to be really exciting on Saturday. Thank you and enjoy your last week!!!!!!
