CASS COUNTY, Mo – Harrisonville’s annual fall brush drop off will be held Friday, Sept. 26th and Saturday, Sept. 27th from 8 a.m. until 5 pm near the City Park.
Residents are asked to follow the directional signs from the intersection of Ash Street and Bradley Street to the actual drop off location. Limbs less than 10” in diameter, cuttings, brush and other woody debris will be accepted. Grass clippings and fallen leaves, and other yard waste will not. City crews will be on hand to help residents unload their vehicles.
Wood chips and compost will be available free of charge, so residents are encouraged to bring a pick up or trailer to haul it away.
Officials remind citizens that proof of residency, such as a current utility bill, is required to participate in this event which is not open to contractors or commercial operations.
