Law Enforcement Officers arrest Daniel Lewis

BUTLER, Mo – On September 24th the Bates County Sheriff’s Office along with the Butler Police Department executed a search warrant at 310 College Street in Butler, MO.


During the search of the residence Law Enforcement located and collected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.


Daniel L Lewis DOB 10-02-2014 of Butler was arrested and is currently in the Bates County Jail on a $20,000 cash only bond for possession of a controlled substance which is a class C felony. He was also charged with unlawful use of drug paraphernalia which is a class A misdemeanor.


On September 24th Bates County Deputies located stolen property at a residence in Lowes Trailer Park in Drexel, MO. This case is currently an open investigation. Items recovered were one orange ladder, go-cart, battery charger, and an air compressor. These items were identified by the victim and have been returned to him.
