The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred in Bolivar, MO at 11:00 AM on
September 11, 2014.
Missing Is:
Benjamin K. Adams a white, male, age 4
Vehicle Information:
Silver 1993 Buick Le Sabre bearing unknown registration information, last seen at the Bolivar, MO Courthouse
Possible suspects or associates are believed to be:
Timothy D. Lormand, a white, male, age 36, hgt 601, 165 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes, wearing a long sleeve button shirt and blue jeans.
The endangered missing person:
Benjamin K. Adams, is a white, male, age 4, hgt 301, 44 lbs, blonde hair, blue eyes, fair complexion.
Brief circumstances regarding the Endangered Missing Person incident: On September 11, 2014, the grandmother of Benjamin Adams was awarded
immediate and temporary custody after a court hearing in Bolivar, MO, based on abuse Benjamin received while in the custody of Timothy Lormand. She
feels there is the possibility for further abuse.
Suspect was staying at the Grand Country Square in Branson, MO, and he had checked out the morning of September 11. Suspect may possibly be in a
silver 1993 Buick Le Sabre or a dark green 2014 Ford Explorer, both with unknown registration information. Suspect is possibly en route to Steamboat
Springs, CO.
Anyone seeing the missing person, suspect, associate, or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should
