Annual Butler Lions Club Auction

The 2014 Butler Lions Club Auction will be held on March 24^th, 25^th 26^th and 27^th.  The proceeds from this annual fund raiser stay within our community and used for the needs of others.

Each night from 5 – 7pm Lions Club members will take the microphone and broadcast live from the Community First Bank.  The call in number for you to call is 660-679-3135 – NOT the radio station.  The merchandise you purchase must be paid for by Friday, March 28^th at Community First Bank where you will receive a voucher to redeem at the business of your purchase.

Sponsorships for 2013 included MO Girls and Boys State in Jefferson City, Annual Easter Egg hunt; Butler Public Library Reading Program, transportation cost for Butler 4^th graders to Frontier Village in Adrian.  The Butler Lions Club sponsor eyeglasses for needy families, donated to the Butler Bear Backers to support the Basketball program, University of Missouri Extension Sponsor and sponsor of the High Point Trophies for the Butler Fair.

Butler Lions Club also purchased the Butler High School PA system for new football and track, they are an annual Relay for Life Sponsor, sponsored a Butler High School boy to Missouri Lions Club All Star Basketball.  They were a contributor to the Bates County Drug Court and for the past 14 years have paid for transportation and fees for a Butler High School Band Member to the Missouri Lions Club Band.  The Butler Lions Club contributes annual to the MS Society and collected used eye glasses and delivered them to the Missouri Eye Bank in Columbia.
