Show-Me Green Sales Tax Holiday April 19th – 25th

(fm92 news) If it’s time for a new stove or refrigerator purchase, the Show-Me Green Sales Tax Holiday will take place April 19^th thru April 25^th.  This holiday is for qualifying Energy Star certified new appliances that will be exempt from state and city sales tax for that period. County taxes will still apply and will not be exempt in Bates County.

The following energy star certified appliances qualify for the holiday. Clothes washers and dryers; water heaters, trash compactors, dishwashers, conventional ovens, ranges, stoves, air conditioners, furnaces, refrigerators, freezers and heat pumps.

If you are in need of new appliances, April 19^th thru the 25^th will be the time for you to save paying City and State sales taxes.
