KCPT, Kansas City Channel 19, will feature a story on Appleton City on this evening at 7pm. The story will be shown again on Thursday, September 4th at 7pm and on Saturday, September 6th at 2:30pm, featuring a story by the KC Star writer Charles Gusewelle,
Charles’s wife was a winner of the Appleton City Stout Prize Baby Show held yearly at the Fair, and this will be a feature of the segment, as well as some footage of the 2014 AC Fair. Mr. Gusewell was in town for the Appleton City Fair this summer and shot the footage. The fair began in 1903, so that has been a lot of baby contest winners throughout the years.
