According to Vernon County Officials, investigators seized what they believe to be methamphetamine’s, drug paraphernalia and a meth lab from the residence during the raid. According to Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher, two people were taken into custody during the search warrant. “We took two people into custody and received arrest warrants for both people Thursday evening” said Mosher. Felony arrest warrants were issued for Randall W Guilford, 57 of Moundville and Debra J Mccune, 59 of Moundville, for Distribution/Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia.
The Sheriff said he could not release any details about the case on Tuesday when they recovered a meth lab in Moundville but said he could now confirm both residences were part of an overall investigation. Certified lab technicians with the Sheriff’s Office were called out to safely remove the chemicals found during the search. “This was the second lab we recovered this week and I’m pleased we were able to do so without anyone getting hurt” said the Sheriff. Both Guilford, and Mccune are being held in the Vernon County Jail with a $25,000 cash only bond each.
