Last night the Butler Bears track team traveled to Archie for a beautiful night to compete. For only the second time all season, our squad was full strength. Knowing that we would have everyone, our goal was to spread athletes out and try to score as many points as possible.

As you can tell we had a lot of kids score points in this meet. Our main goal was not to “stack” events and strictly win, but to spread out athletes and try to score as many points as possible. With this in mind, the boys did exactly what I wanted them to do. As a team, we scored in all events but 3, out of 19. This is a good indicator of where our team stands with conference and districts right around the corner. We travel to Lamar on Thursday 23rd.
