CASS COUNTY, Mo – Harrisonville’s annual spring brush drop off will be held Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., in its customary location near the City Park.
Residents are asked to follow the directional signs from the intersection of Ash Street and Bradley Street to the actual drop off location. Fallen limbs, cuttings, brush and other woody debris will be accepted. Grass clippings, however, will not. City crews will be on hand to unload their vehicles. Wood chips and compost will be available free of charge, so residents are encouraged to bring a pick up or trailer to haul it away.
Officials remind citizens that proof of residency, such as a current utility bill, is required to participate in this event. This event is not open to commercial equipment or commercial operations.
