CASS COUNTY, Mo – The Harrisonville School District will be offering summer school to students entering grade K-6. Summer School is set for June 1-26. The district will run bus routes to centralized pick-up and drop-off locations based on enrollment.
Incoming kindergarten students will go to Summer School at Harrisonville Early Childhood Center from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Kindergarten students can be picked up at the centralized locations, but after-school busing for kindergartners will only be to the Harrisonville Community Center and local day care centers.
Incoming 1st-6th Graders will attend Summer School at McEowen; the hours are 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and lunch will be provided.
The Community Center will once again offer after-school care for a fee. The district will provide transportation to the Community Center.
The high school will be offering Health, Personal Finance and Credit Recovery during June. An ACT Prep class will be offered at HHS as well. Agricultural Experience classes will be run through Cass Career Center.
Enrollment information was emailed to parents of elementary school students this week and is available on the district website. Completed forms are due back by Friday, April 10.
