Burglary Suspect Arrested

On February 21^st Butler officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for defective equipment.  They made contact with an 18 year old male, Eric Scott Hall.  Further investigation on scene and with the help of the Bates County Sheriff’s K9 Officer revealed burglary tools along with items known to have been stolen from local businesses.  Hall was arrested and was interviewed by Butler officers.  Hall confessed to various burglaries in Butler and other surrounding cities.  Surrounding Police Agencies were notified and those agencies also interviewed Hall.  Hall also confessed to multiple burglaries in several neighboring cities.  Due to the ongoing investigations further details will be released at a later time.
