BCYAC Potato Day: Today is the Ordering Deadling

BATES COUNTY, Mo – It’s time for the Bates County Youth Advocacy Council’s “Potato Day” on Monday, April 13th. For the price of $5.00, you can have a large, baked potato (choice of ham or chili), sour cream, a homemade cookie and a water delivered to your home, business or school.

Order your loaded baked potato between Friday, April 3rd and Thursday April 9th by calling the Get Fit Gym in Butler at 660-200-2100 or e-mail your order to bcyouthadvocacycouncil@gmail.com. April 9th is the deadline so they will have an adequate supply of potatoes.

Deliveries will be made in Butler from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Lunchtime deliveries will be made in Rich Hill and Adrian. You must be within the city limits for delivery! You can also place pick-up orders. These can be picked up at the Uptown Church, 7 E Dakota Street, Butler.

There are a limited number of potatoes available, so “Don’t Be a DUD! Order a Spud!” Order forms will be delivered the week of April 6 to schools and businesses that have previously purchased from BCYAC.

All proceeds are used to finance BCYAC projects including: county-wide Advanced Placement class (college credit) scholarships, two $1000 scholarships for Bates County seniors, a free, county-wide Day Camp, the Butler Youth Center and the Pool Pals program. The BCYAC is a not-for-profit that provides programs and opportunities for the youth of Bates County.
