Clarence C. Wiltz, age 92 of Urich, MO, passed away at Golden Years Healthcare, Harrisonville, MO, on Thursday, April 2, 2015. Clarence was born on July 6, 1922 to William P. Wiltz and Susanna “Dix” Wiltz of Sabetha, KS. After school, he enlisted in the Army and served in WWII. Clarence married Helen Keeney on January 15, 1947 in Troy, KS. He worked as a Highway Department employee for the Missouri Department of Transportation. Clarence was also a faithful member of the Urich Fire Department. He was also a member of the Catholic Church, American Legion Post 371 and the VFW Post 4420 of Montrose, MO.
Survivors include his wife, Helen of the home; two daughters, Charlotte Eidson ( Billie ) of Urich, MO and Susan Macy (Chris) of Joplin, MO; two sons, David Wiltz (Sandi) of Urich, MO and C. Harlo Wiltz ( Ruth ) of Urich, MO; and a host of nieces and nephews on both sides of his family.
The family will receive visitors at Consalus Funeral Home, Urich on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at Urich on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow, with full military honors at the Urich Cemetery, Urich, MO.
